Meca Sapiens: Architecture of a conscious agent

The Meca Sapiens architecture describes, in detail, how to use standard software engineering tools and techniques to implement Artificial Consciousness in autonomous agents.

The Meca Sapiens architecture makes no attempt to solve what is known as the Hard Problem or achieve phenomenal consciousness. It proposes, instead, to implement Engineered Consciousness a realistic and achievable capability based on internal modeling of the self and a capability to carry out intentional self-transformation.

NOTE: The Meca Sapiens architecture, while technically feasible, is unsafe. Its implementation is incompatible with current standards of Ethical AI.

The Meca Sapiens research project is completed. The Architecture is contained in two manuals:

The Creation of a Conscious Machine

The Creation of a Conscious Machine corresponds to the Requirements and Specification document of the Meca Sapiens Architecture. More…

The Meca Sapiens Blueprint

The Meca Sapiens Blueprint is the only  System Architecture available that describes, in detail, how to build autonomous agents  that are self-aware and capable of intentional mutations. More…
